The Audio Collection
Ten original audio reflections through the Movements of The Life That Calls.
The Audio Collection is a contemplative listening experience, created as a companion to the books.
It is not an audiobook of the memoir.
These are new reflections, written to open another doorway into the work. They do not summarize, excerpt, or replace The Life That Calls.
The written reflections are free on Substack. The audio is another way to receive them, through listening, silence and contemplative music.
Across ten reflections, the series moves through the memoir’s seven Movements and Integration. It offers a foundational orientation to the deeper pattern of the work.
Each reflection is received through my voice and the pauses I leave open. It is a different experience from reading alone. The audio is made to accompany ordinary life: while walking, resting, traveling, beginning or ending the day, or setting aside time for prayer, meditation, or quiet reflection.
There are no lessons to master and no steps to complete.
The invitation is simply to listen, pause, and notice what you recognize.
Original Music
The reflections are accompanied by original music composed by Nick Cianfarani, who also produced the audio. His music gives the series an atmosphere: a place to arrive, receive, and reflect.
I am deeply grateful to Nick for understanding the spirit of the work, and for the generosity, sensitivity, and care he brought to this collaboration.
